Has anyone paid attention to the upcoming teams for 2010? I just read on Cycle News that Yamaha has 6 teams they are supporting for 2010. Stewart and Hill on L&M. Grant and Brayton on JGR. Goerke and Reardon on Motoconcepts. Tedesco, Langston, J-Law, Hamblin and those are just the 450 riders. The lites riders include Izzi, Davalos, Sipes, Regal, Jeff Alessi, Anstie, Tickle and a handful of up and coming riders. Holy Shit! Guess there will be alot of blue on the podium in 2010.

Its pretty interesting what Yamaha did. Forgo the traditional "factory" team and just support satelitte teams. When you think about it, it does make sense. Gives them more exposure and spreads the wealth a little, more jobs, more rides, etc. I bet other teams follow suit in the next few years.
